College Success & Exploration Seminars

We will be conducting College Success Seminars.  These seminars explore a variety of topics including time management, how to interact with professors, and how to study for an exam. You will learn useful tips and strategies to be successful during your time here at Washington University as well as in the future.

We will also host special Exploration Seminars.  These seminars are led by Washington University staff and faculty, as well as noted university alumni, and St. Louis professionals.  These seminars explore a variety of majors, career options, and fields of interest as well as discussing how to apply to college and how to prepare for a college admissions interview.

Academic Support Groups

For our Summer Scholars, we offer weekly Academic Support Groups.  Groups are organized by course subject areas and provide an opportunity for students who are enrolled in the same courses to meet and discuss issues outside of the classroom.  These groups, led by our program staff, are also designed to assist Summer Scholars further in time management, understanding the syllabus, and course curriculum.
